About Caroline Carlisle
Caroline Blackenbeckler is the mastermind behind the Caroline Carlisle jewelry collection. A jewelry designer from Texas, Caroline is a self-proclaimed "gem nerd" with a passion for unique jewelry.
After studying art history at the University of Virginia, Caroline enrolled in the Gemological Institute of America and graduated with Graduate Jeweler and Graduate Gemologist degrees. All of this training led to the founding of Caroline Carlisle in 2006. The collection was named so as an homage to Caroline's grandmother, and made an interesting addition to the jewelry industry.
One of a Kind Jewelry
Caroline Carlisle is very popular among jewelry buffs that are looking for one of a kind pieces to add to their collections. Quality is ensured because a certified gemologist has approved every stone and metal used in the Caroline Carlisle jewelry line.
Blackenbeckler also notes that she seeks out only the finest stones to be used in the jewelry she creates. Her stones of choice include:
- Brazilian Tourmalines
- Burmese Spinels
- Tahitian Pearls
- Russian Staurolites
- Diamonds
The above stones are used to accentuate 18-karat yellow and rose gold designs. Each piece of jewelry is unique because Blackenbeckler hand-twists the gold, creating an off the cuff design-something you don't see very often in the jewelry industry.
